Our Team

Lyn Morgain AM

Founded by Lyn Morgain, Mārama Group was established to help leaders who are accountable to others, do what they need to do, well and with care.

Leaders with accountability to others - colleagues, citizens, clients, patients, service users, people with lived experience, donors, funders and the public - make critical quality and safety decisions everyday.

As a respected leader with deep experience in providing quality support to individuals, organisations and communities under pressure or in conflict, Lyn wanted Mārama Group to prioritise providing support to leaders dealing with conflict and crisis - support that is culturally attuned, safe, focussed on equity, resolution and sensitive to rights, risk and duty.

Lyn has worked in Australia and internationally delivering clinical and community safety and quality in crisis , humanitarian disaster settings. Working with countless communities and circumstances. She has been responsible for safeguarding and risk in workplaces, public spaces, events health services, child and aged care, and in crisis situations. She has worked for decades as an advisor on the development of governance and policy approaches to providing safety and well being.

Lyn believes that systems, activities and approaches that prioritise well being and safety perform best.
